Welcome to the Website of Dr Richard Bogle

Dr Bogle is a Consultant Cardiologist based in London and Surrey. He specialises in the assessment and treatment of patients with all types of heart and vascular disease. He sees patients in the NHS over 16 years of age with cardiac symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, dizziness and high blood pressure.

Dr Bogle is an accredited specialist in Cardiology, General Internal Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics, a fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and the American College of Cardiology. He has sub-specialist training in Interventional Cardiology. Dr Bogle undertook an 11 year period of post-graduate specialist training and has 24 years experience as a qualified doctor and has been a Consultant Cardiologist for 14 years. 

Dr Bogle's main interest is in treatment of coronary heart disease and its prevention by the management of high blood pressure, high cholesterol and other cardiac conditions. He has developed a specialist interest in coronary intervention especially via the radial artery in the wrist. For 13 years Dr Bogle ran a successful private practice in a number of Surrey Hospitals however as from the end of September 2020 he has retired from private practice in order to concentrate on his role as Director of Postgraduate Medical Education at Epsom and St Helier Hospital and also his NHS work as a Consultant Cardiologist at St Helier Hospital and St George's Hospital.
